These hot salsa biscuits have just the right amount of kick to get any party started. Each guest can customize their toppings, adding cheese, sour, cream, green onions or guacomole making this dish fun and delicious for everyone! It’s the perfect Cinco de Mayo dish!
I have had this recipe for many years and served it for several special occasions and parties. It is always a hit! The biscuits are easy to prepare and toss in the oven. Transfer them onto a serving plate and serve along side shredded cheese, sour cream, sliced green onions and/or guacamole. Easy, right?
Let your guests serve themselves and taste those beautiful and vivid colors they just spooned on their plate!
Ingredients
- 2 cans Pillsbury Homestyle Grands Biscuits
- 3 C fresh medium heat salsa, from produce refrigerator section
- 1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 lb pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 1 can sliced black olives
- 1 large bunch green onions, sliced
- sour cream
- additional salsa
- gaucamole
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut each uncooked biscuit into fourths.
- Gently mix biscuits, salsa, 1/2 lb monterey jack, 1/2 lb pepper jack and black olives together.
- Pour into greased baking pan and cook for 45-50 minutes. You may need to gently toss biscuits half way through cooking to be sure biscuits cook through evenly. If they look dry, add additional salsa.
- Once biscuits are cooked, place on serving dish and place next to sour cream, green onions, cheese and guacamole.
