Salsa Biscuits

October 1, 2014 by Dangerously-Delicious.com

These hot salsa biscuits have just the right amount of kick to get any party started. Each guest can customize their toppings, adding cheese, sour, cream, green onions or guacomole making this dish fun and delicious for everyone! It’s the perfect Cinco de Mayo dish!

Salsa Biscuits

I have had this recipe for many years and served it for several special occasions and parties. It is always a hit! The biscuits are easy to prepare and toss in the oven. Transfer them onto a serving plate and serve along side shredded cheese, sour cream, sliced green onions and/or guacamole. Easy, right?

  • 3 C fresh medium heat salsa, from produce refrigerator section
  • 1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 can sliced black olives
  • 1 large bunch green onions, sliced
  • sour cream
  • additional salsa
  • gaucamole

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut each uncooked biscuit into fourths.
  3. Gently mix biscuits, salsa, 1/2 lb monterey jack, 1/2 lb pepper jack and black olives together.

  5. Once biscuits are cooked, place on serving dish and place next to sour cream, green onions, cheese and guacamole.

Dangerously Delicious

My name is Crystal Dangerfield and I am so excited to bring you tried and true recipes that my whole family and I enjoy together. I love being in the kitchen and trying new recipes. Of course we have our favorites, but my kids are pretty good sports about trying new things. I refuse to buy ready-made frozen meals and refrain from fast food. My kids do not know what a “happy meal” is and I want to keep it that way! My husband was diagnosed with Celiac’s Disease several years ago and I have had to learn how to alter recipes into gluten free versions that the whole family still loves.
