This Rosemary Ranch Salmon is one of our FAVORITE recipes for salmon. You would never know ranch dressing was added if I didn’t tell you. An entree that was once part of a 5 star restaurant here in Ft Lauderdale can easily be made in your very own kitchen! And guess what? It only takes 15 minutes from start to finish!
The first time I made this recipe it was for my husband and I for lunch. I had been given the step by step recipe just the day before by one of my fellow nursing friends. This recipe was given to her by a personal friend who used to work at a 5 star restaurant here in Ft Lauderdale. I knew it had to be incredible based on the reputation of the restaurant (which I’m not going to mention). It just sounded so delicious I had to try it right away. As soon as it came out of the oven I gave it a try and within 2 minutes the fish was GONE! It didn’t even make it to a plate. There we stood eating with our forks right off the baking sheet. My 3 year old walked into the kitchen and was interested in what we were salivating over and had to try. She of course loved it and kept asking for more before she could even swallow a bite.
My kids now shout for joy whenever I say we’re having salmon for dinner. They devour whole filets of this stuff before anything else on their plate. It’s super quick and easy making it perfect for a weeknight meal, but is also a showstopper for any company you are trying to impress!
Simply wash your fresh wild salmon with kosher salt and rise off. Pat dry and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
Sprinkle with salt and fresh cracked pepper.
Chop some fresh rosemary and sprinkle on top.
Then spread ranch dressing on top. Bake in the oven, skin side down, @ 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Set your oven to broil and place on top rack for 1 minute or until top mixture is hot and bubbly and beginning to brown. Serve and enjoy!! So easy and insanely delicious.
