Here’s a cute valentine for those most special to you! Give them to your kids, grandparents or favorite teacher. They’d also make a great gift for parents made by students in class. Use the free printable to complete the look!
I’ve always loved these sweet words used in this valentine. My daughter Layla will often try to create a longer distance, than just to the moon, to let me know how much she loves me. She’ll say something like, “I love you all the way to Mars and back again 10 million times.” We usually go back and forth every night as I’m putting her to bed. It’s something I’ll miss when she’s a teenager, I’m sure. I felt it was only fitting that a valentine be made using the phrase since it’s so dear to my heart.
Of course the valentine had to have a moon-like treat sooooo this is what I came up with! Use fortune cookies, powdered donut holes or even mini powdered jelly donuts. Oh and since it’s still girl scout cookie season, the lemon Savannah Smile cookies are crescent-shaped and powdered! For anyone who has those around, you could definitely use them here too!
Choose any paper to print on to add a pop of color! This is just what I had on hand, but I’m sure the craft store has even better options.
Your best bet for finding fortune cookies, especially last minute, would be at an oriental grocery store. Just call before going, I learned that they sell out quickly. Dunkin Donuts is always a good option too if you want a sweeter alternative.
