Decorating marshmallow Easter eggs can be just as exciting as dying the real things. These fun and simple cupcake toppers are perfect for an edible Easter craft this holiday. Decorating eggs this way ensures EVERY egg gets colored, no cracked or broken eggs…perhaps just a few samples eaten along the way:)
I found these large egg-shaped marshmallows at my local grocery store. You can also find them here on Amazon with Prime shipping.
I also picked up these bold icing colors from Target. They saved a lot of time on creating my own bright-colored frosting.
Place them in small piping bags for decorating. I just snipped a small piece off the end of each bag. No tip needed.
You could also use sprinkles, chocolate chips, gel icing and candied icing decorations for more options. I baked carrot cake cupcakes for the full Easter effect. You can find an AMAZING recipe here for homemade carrot cake. It’s easier than you think.
The design possibilities are endless! It’s a fun way to sit around the table and be creative together as family and friends.
