Do NOT make your next holiday ham without including a side of this warm dipping sauce to serve with it!! You have never tasted a ham so good! This Dangerously Delicious Dipping Sauce and ham marinade compliment each other perfectly. I can tell you I love the recipe for this dipping sauce SO much I have found other ways to use it too! Come find out how!
I made this ham recipe last year for Easter and was reluctant because I had never baked a ham that was absolutely amazing. Despite trying so-called “best” recipes, they were all just okay. Well, last year my ham skills turned a new leaf. Instead of having ham leftover for days, I had not even a scrap leftover to package up. It was GONE. ALL of it. (so depressing) You better believe I’ll be buying a bigger ham this year so we can all enjoy leftovers.
Make marinade and drizzle all over ham being sure to get in between slices. Place slices back together before covering with tin foil.
Bake ham as directed on package. Be careful not to over bake. While ham is in the oven, baste frequently keeping meat moist.
On stove top, make dipping sauce and keep warm until ham is served.
Another recipe you can include in your Easter brunch spread (or for breakfast any time of the week) are these Soft Boiled Eggs Wrapped in Spicy Sausage with Creamy Mustard Sauce. This is the SAME sauce for the ham. Now I don’t have to bake a ham to have the sauce, I can just
drink it drizzle it over these Scotch Eggs any time of the year and satisfy my craving.
